About the Artist

Kerri is an artist, who has been working in abstract for over 20
years. His contemporaries on the island of Trinidad, where he was
born, identify his style of painting by the iconic and structured
images he uses. Kerri's artistic style is diverse. It ranges from
simple to complex.

"Lines act as pathways to guide the mind through this maze of coded
reality," Kerri wrote of his style when he held his first solo
exhibition in 1992. "In my work, I allow the viewer the opportunity to
interpret beyond the title of the piece. Oftentimes, they help in the
decoding process."
